Damascus Gear Riot Control Helmet with Gas Mask Compatible Visor - DH50

The Damascus Gear DH50 Riot Control Helmet protects the head and face from non-ballistic threats such as rocks, bottles, other thrown objects, and chemicals. Its 5mm polycarbonate face shield is angled forward to leave room for a gas mask or respirator, and the adjustable suspension lets one helmet size fit a whole team. The DH50 replaces the earlier DH1 and is built for correctional emergency response teams and law enforcement officers handling riot control and disturbance response.

• Gas Mask Compatible: Forward-angled visor leaves room for a gas mask or respirator
• 5mm Face Shield: Clear polycarbonate visor, twice as thick as the DH1 visor, with anti-scratch and anti-fog coating
• Three-Position Visor: Pull-pin adjustment locks the visor fully raised, in an intermediate position, or fully down
• Impact-Resistant Shell: High-impact PC/ABS thermoplastic shell with a gasket seal against liquids and debris
• Adjustable Fit: One-size internal suspension adjusts to different head sizes
• Secure Chin Strap: Push-button quick-release buckle with chin cup
• Neck Protection: Removable polyester cervical neck protector
• Non-Ballistic: Designed for protection against thrown objects and blunt impacts, not ballistic threats

Applications for Corrections & Law Enforcement

Correctional emergency response teams can use the DH50 during cell extractions, disturbance response, and riot control, where officers may face thrown objects or chemical agents. Since the visor leaves room for a gas mask, officers can keep full head and face protection on when chemical agents are in use.

Law enforcement agencies, civil disturbance units, and quick reaction teams can use it for crowd management and other tactical operations. We suggest testing the fit with your agency's issued gas masks or respirators before placing a larger order.
